THE ARTIST
THE ARTIST
Visual artist based in France, Xénia creates plaster wall sculptures — unique pieces where matter becomes landscape. Inspired by organic textures and mineral horizons, her creations invite contemplation through a subtle interplay of shadows and relief.
Natural light is at the heart of her work: it reveals new depth throughout the day, transforming the wall into a window open onto a serene and timeless imaginary world.
Entirely handmade in her studio, these works emerge from a meticulous process — from sketch to finish, two to six weeks of work depending on the complexity of the piece — reflecting a total commitment to the nobility of the gesture and the singularity of fine craftsmanship.
Every work is born from observation — the fold of a fabric, the movement of water, the geometry of a leaf. Plaster, an ancient and living material, captures these moments in a definitive form that nonetheless continues to evolve with the light.
Xénia's work has been exhibited at The Holy Art Gallery (London) and in several group exhibitions in France. Her pieces find their place in private interiors, professional spaces, and interior architecture projects.
Based in France, Xénia works exclusively by hand, without molds or mechanical reproduction. Each piece is unique.
